I track Cars tags on Tumblr and it always bums me out to see Cars 2 as everyone’s least favorite Pixar movie. I think it had plenty of heart and I loved it even though I’m not a Mater fan.

As much as I enjoyed the screentime Mater, the Lemons, and all the espionage got- I’m ready for the story to shift back to that of Radiator Springs. And I think that’s exactly what Lasseter is doing.

Lynda Weathers was actually working for Tex in the Dinoco Company but since Strip “The King” Weathers won in several piston cups, Tex brought Strip to Dinoco until Lynda and Strip met and got married.

(based on Mater’s Tall Tales) After a crash on the track, McQueen has a hard time with memory loss on a daily basis. Mater is more than happy to tell him stories of their past adventures while not alarming him of why he doesn’t always remember.
